9.6 Billion Miles

Due to the high price of gasoline, Americans are driving less. I know that I am!
I found this article on CNN, and I found it very interesting.

Drivers shave off nearly 10 billion miles...

I just hope that we see the prices at the pump start to come down.

As I look through my blog and others that I frequent, I think that it is interesting to see some blogs that have tons of comments left on them and others that have none at all. I guess that I am the type to only comment once in a while on posts that I think that are really interesting. Geico is brilliant

Who ever is in charge of Geico's advertising is brilliant. I feel they constantly have commercials that are funny but also are very memorable. Here is one of my favorites.

I love TV

I watched the last episode of Friends the other night and was wondering how many people tuned into to watch the series finale. As I was looking for the number of viewers I found some other very interesting information that I found online and in a USA Today report in 2006. (click here to read the entire article)

I was surprised to see MASH topping the list and blowing all others out of the water!

• The average person watches 4 hours and 35 minutes of television a day, that adds up to more then 1500 hours per year
• By the age of 20 the average viewer will have seen over 600,000 commercials

Needless to say that we watch a lot of TV. After reading the articles that I found, I came to the realization that I need to watch less TV.
